UMHN Sponsors Canal Clean Sweep

Soggy weather did not stop a hardy group of neighbors from participating in the "Canal Clean Sweep" on Saturday, April 16th.  Mary, Patrick and Brian Tyndall, along with Sue Schickler, picked up tires, trash and even a 5 dollar bill along the canal path. We enjoyed bagels and received T-shirts at the end.

If you missed this event, make sure to join us for the next Canal Clean-up on Tuesday, May 24 from 6 to 7:30pm.  We will meet at the Kendrick Road entrance to the canal, near the Ronald McDonald House.  We still have T-shirts to give you.  Bring gloves, snippers or other tools for trail work. Wear brightly colored clothes as the trail may be busy with bicycles by then!  Hopefully the weather will be dry and warm. Refreshments will be provided.
