Mark’s Park
If you’re driving on Westmoreland Drive, past Mark’s Park, be sure to notice the new bridge over the ditch entering the park. A group of volunteers from Daimler Buses North America, located in Oriskany, NY, built the bridge as one of their community projects. We are grateful for their help with this much needed addition.

On “Wilson Day,” fourteen incoming freshmen from the U of R performed their community service by cutting down trees, spreading mulch and digging a garden area. They braved the cold, damp weather, worked hard and built camaraderie with their fellow classmates. Many thanks to these students for their efforts.
We will be planting spring bulbs soon and then perennials in the spring. We are looking for donations, so keep us in mind. |
We continue to work on Saturday mornings and welcome your helping hands. If you have questions, contact us at gardeners@umhn.com.
