What Can I Recycle?

Here's a reminder about what should and should not go into your blue or green recycling boxes. Also, if you don't have a full box, why not wait to put it out until the next week? By doing so, the collectors can save their trucks from idling, which in turn saves fuel.

Please take note about how to recycle corrugated cardboard regardless of the size of the box, If it's not broken-down and bundled, the collector will not pick it up. Also remember that we live nearby the Monroe County Recycling Center (East Henrietta Road, before the canal bridge). If you have bulk cardboard, newspapers, magazines, cans, plastic or glass containers, there are large dumpsters there to receive those items. Recycling is a great way to help the environment, so continue to do it properly.
